This pump is for vertical gas engine driven units. This pump mounts directly on to the engine shaft by using a keyed hollow shaft connection system. The mounting flange provides a convenient connection to most 7/8” diameter shaft vertical gas engines with at least 5HP. This is an EZ-SX Rear-Facing (Left-Handed) SX Pump. designed with the outlet positioned at the back. Do NOT run above max PSI rating. Doing so can result in damage to the pump (not covered by warranty) and/or serious bodily injury

Are pressure washer pumps interchangeable?
Many pumps are. However. compatible replacement options do vary depending on your pressure washer's engine shaft diameter & engine orientation. the original pump's bolt pattern. and your engine's horsepower.
What pump do I need if my shaft has a spline/gear instead of a keyway?
Your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump. That style isn't made anymore. However. you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you'll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.
Do I need a keyway for installation. and do your pumps come with one?
Our pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing. it will come with one. If you need to purchase one separately. you can do so from our catalog.
Do I need to change the oil in my pump?
Many of our pumps don't require oil maintenance. but some models do need oil changes. Generally. pumps with an oil vent port will need regular oil changes. Pumps without that port are sealed units and don't need oil changes.
